Before we start telling you about Cancun, it is our obligation to inform you that you must be prepared to become acquainted with it. This experience will be memorable, unparalleled for, without a doubt, every time you hear the word Cancun unforgettable memories will arrive in your mind, which will make you yearn to return many more times. If you are already familiar with Cancun you’ll know what I’m talking about and you’ll know that I’m right. It is said that one can only emit a judgment with the right arguments, so we must agree that there are more than enough to describe this beautiful city.
Cancun wakes up with the harmonic sound of its Caribbean waves, while the sun begins to illuminate the warm beaches that begin to be invaded by visitors who want to enjoy its incredible nature. Meanwhile, its people, who are the greatest treasure of this beautiful city, prepare to welcome you, to treat you in the best way possible and to make you fall in love, day after day.
Part of the morning has gone by and Cancun still has much to do. Restaurant doors begin to open and the ocean breeze transports the aroma of the delicious food platters that are waiting to be enjoyed at its delicious buffets, with its regional dishes and with its wide variety of international cuisines, which will make you feel right at home.
Midday is approaching and the sun makes its intensity known so you can enjoy, from fishing, wave-runners, a parachute ride and beach volleyball, to a tour through Cancun ’s downtown area.
At this hour, Cancun is usually already offering you its traditional hammocks, regional outfits and shell necklaces, among other things that our artisans produce day by day, while you enjoy the lovely surrounding music of the marimba, as you get ready to eat.
By then, Cancun begins to serve delicious food on its restaurant tables, thus begins the ritual that will feed your soul, filling you with Cancun’s essence, allowing you to choose among delicious seafood in elegant restaurants, or traditional local food such as our eccentric cochinita pibil (spicy pork dish), or the fine cuts, which can be found in the best steakhouses.
A bit later, you can go for a spin on the lovely Hotel Zone’s bicycle track (ciclopista), or take a look in its shopping malls, which will allow you to relax after your meal, while you wait for Cancun’s spectacular sunsets. For this great event, spectators usually gather at “the lookout point” located in Playa Delfines, in the Hotel Zone.
At night, the moon turns Cancun into such a romantic being, with thousands of stories to tell. You have the opportunity to be part of those stories while you enjoy a delicious dinner in one of the endlessly varied excellent restaurants that this cosmopolitan tourist destination offers.
When it seems like Cancun is about to invite us for a night of rest, one begins to hear the jangle of make-up jars and of perfume sprays, which anticipate a night full of fun in the best nightclubs where fun never stops.
Finally, when you decide to rest after the great day you’ve just enjoyed, Cancun prepares itself to begin its natural cycle once again, by waiting for those, who like you, are ready and able to re-live this experience again and again.
